| 4. What are the qualifications of a realtor? |

| Florida Realtors are required to complete a Florida Real Estate Commission (FREC) approved pre-licensing course for salepersons consisting of 63 classroom hours and cover the topics required by FREC and must pass the state exam. In addition, the National Association of Realtors (NAR) requires every realtor to complete the 3 hour Code of Ethics course to assure prospective customers that they are familiar with the Code of Ethics. Every 2 years, a realtor must take 14 hours of Continuing Education to maintain an active license. |
